Commercial photographer for over 35 years experience in Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit and Phoenix, Author of book " Photographers guide to shooting models & actors portfolio" by Amherst Media publications. Featured on NBC TV Phoenix, "Midday show" March 2004 as guest photographer. Director-instructor Cavecreek Photographic Workshops (Phoenix, AZ), (former original founder of Midwest Photographic Workshops-Detroit Mi.) Worked in Chicago as a commercial photographer shooting Speigels, Sears, food photography, model portfolios,furniture show rooms and more. Have aerial photography experience and medical operating room photo experience as well. Recently was staff trip photographer to a medical team in Nicaragua Central America, ( July 2004) Alan & his wife Penny exhibit their "hand-colored" B&W images at Art Shows in the Phoenix,Az area. Workshops specialized and small in size are offered throughout the year. Alan is also available for private lessons in fashion, fine art nude figure, lighting & posing techniques, portrait & wedding photography as well as nature, macro close-up and landscape photography by appointment appointment. Alan spent 10 days in Sept 2007 in Cologne Germany working with 14 models on a joint effort for a book with German photographer Ralph Lambrecht for the book Naked on Heels to be published.
